What are the dimensions of each slot?
Putnam Stations GEN 1:
Putnam Stations purchased through Apple in the United States market are Putnam GEN 1 models.

Putnam Stations GEN 2:
Putnam Stations purchased through a non-Apple vendor in the United States market after October 13, 2020 are Putnam GEN 2 models. The size of the stations was increased slightly to accommodate broader range of cases for iPads.

Can I charge devices other than iPads?
Yes, it also works with Micro USB tablet devices if you swap out the cables.
What do the LED lights indicate?
Red = charging
Green = ready for use
No light = device is not connected
What if I forget my combination?
The Putnam 8 and Putnam 16 come with an override key that will help you reset the password. For more information download the Putnam 16 Lock Instructions.
My devices aren't being recognized by the Putnam Charging Station?
For iOS 11.4.1 devices or later (you can check your iOS version in Settings > General > About and look down at which Version the device is running), to allow the device to be recognized by LocknCharge unit you may need to do one of the following steps:
- Do not enable a passcode on iOS devices
- -OR- for iOS devices with passcodes, simply unlock the device prior to plugging in
- -OR- update Settings > Touch ID & Passcode > scroll down to USB Accessories (toggle to “ON” so it is green)
What is the charging rate of the Putnam 8 and 16 Charging Stations?
Maximum of 2.4 amps at each port.
Are there any special power requirements since the station charges so many devices?
No. All LocknCharge devices can run on 120V 15 Amp circuits.
