How many Baskets are included in the Carrier 40 Cart?

Eight (8) 5-slot Carry Baskets.

What color Baskets will I receive with the Carrier 40 Cart?

Two Green, two Blue, two Red and two Yellow.

Will my devices fit in the Carrier 40 Cart?

There is a simple template that you can download in the section below to determine whether or not your devices will fit. The template allows you to measure your device to the Basket. All you have to do is download the file, print it to scale on an Ledger size paper and place your device within the guide to see if it fits. Instructions are included on the template. Are there an special power requirements for the Carrier 40 Cart since they charge so many devices?

No, just a regular Power Outlet. The Carrier 40 Cart is equipped with ECO Safe Charge power board for safe and efficient charging. The power board stages the availability of power to each bank of devices. If you need to purchase a new EcoSafe Power strip and remote you can do so here.

Can I purchase additional Baskets?

I now require syncing functionality on my Carrier 40 Cart. What can I do?

LocknCharge products are designed to be modular. You have the option to purchase the iQ 16 Sync Charge Boxe for syncing and charging functionality.

Where do I find my serial number?

You can find your serial number on the bottom of the Cart.

My cart doesn’t seem to be charging or only charges for a little bit before shutting off?

If you have Chromebooks, they can ramp up their charging after they start and if all devices are doing this at once it can trip the EcoSafe timer installed in your Cart. The benefit of the timer is that you can easily prevent this by running your charging on cycles. See the user guide on how to set this up. If you need to purchase a new EcoSafe Power strip and remote you can do so here.

What happens if I lose my key or my keys are locked in the product?

My devices do not fit in the Baskets. What can I do?

So your device is too big? We have you covered. You can purchase a Stainless Steel Device Rack set that replaces the Baskets and allows larger devices to fit in the Carrier 40 Cart. You can buy a Carrier 40 Wire Rack here.

My power cord from the cart to the wall is broken, what can I do?

You can purchase a new power cord for your cart: For Charge Only Carts: click here. For Sync and Charge Carts: click here.

I want to change my carts to all be keyed differently, what can I do?

You can purchase new key barrels here and contact us for instruction on what to do 888-943-6803.

Are you having problems syncing multiple devices with iTunes/Apple Configurator on your Macbook?

In June 2013, a range of Apple products incorporated the new 4th Generation Intel Core vPro Processors (Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i7). The new 4th Generation Intel Core vPro Processor products limits the number of devices which can be connected via their USB ports. We’ve developed a software update to fix this. Simply download the USB Limit Fix app from the link below and follow the instructions.

USB Limit Fix app

Are you having problems syncing multiple devices with your cart or charging station? It's probably the version of Macbook you are using. But don't worry, we've got a fix. Install this application. Refer to the USB Limit Fix PDF for further instructions.

Please note: This fix is only needed for certain Apple Mac computers particularly the newer version that use the Intel Core i5 and i7 (also known by the code name “Haswell”), it does not apply to PCs. The application will permanently install the fix so that it is always enabled on every boot without the need to run the application (it can be uninstalled through the application). The LocknCharge product is required and needs to be connected to the Mac to install this fix.

Syncing a 40 Unit Cart -with Limited External Ports

If you have a 40 Unit Sync Cart, and a newer computer you may not have enough external ports available to sync all three sync charge boxes at once (you need three external ports). Please reference the attached on how to sync all 40 devices at once.
